Tungsten Glow Lighting was created to provide an online retail presence for Andy Skirrow Projects ltd.  With an enviable list of projects providing bespoke electronics & lighting solutions to clients from the Entertainment Sector to Globe Trotting Adventurers.

I have had a passion for turn of the Century industrial & theatrical lighting for over 20 years. Salvaging many lights from the skip. A slow down in project work, at the start of 2020, provided an ideal opportunity to develop this into the business' core function.

We now source and refurbish lighting from across the UK & Europe.  We also provide new designs to complement the originals. Making the pairing ideal for installation in spaces from residential to commercial interiors. Our aim is to preserve the history of the each light fitting whilst making them function well in their new setting.

We are proud to operate in an environmentally sustainable way as possible. Key to this is designing lighting that is designed to last. This reflects the process that made the light we are so carefully renovating. Often only minor repairs on 60 year old products. We feel modern products are too often cost driven and disposable, contributing to an unsustainable future. All our components are selected to be fully repairable.

Even our packaging is recycled or reused. Wherever possible avoiding plastics. Is there a faint smell of popcorn in you packages?... that's because our infill is cornstarch based ;-)
