Coolicon Table Light
Coolicon 9" Shade Table Lamp
This is a 1930's Coolicon shade on a new lamp base. The lamp is designed specially for the shades. A factory inspired utilitarian style looks great in many room styles. The Coolicon design was found in many back office location in the UK. From Churchill's War Rooms to the London Underground. This design gives the owner a bit of history, whilst providing a practical function.
The patina of each shade makes the lamps one off pieces. A hand polished plywood base is a nod to utilitarian style. Whilst galvanised steel arm is detailed with brass fittings and a retro inspired on/off switch. The final touch is a modern fabric covered cable (variations available)
All lamps are designed and manufactured in our workshops in the North of England. Each one is finished with a personal eye for detail.
